First Art Library in Kuwait

April 29, 2013

As every education starts with reading books, art knowledge requires the same practice. Few years back Fatma Al Safar, Kuwaiti journalist and art critic, in collaboration with Yahya Suwailem, Director of Boushahri Gallery, worked hard on creating first art library in Kuwait. Hundreds of books, magazines, auction catalogues from all over the world include wide panorama of international and middle eastern artists, art movements and artworks from different historical epoque since antique to Contemporary art are gathered together in one place. Books are in English and Arabic languages.

Address: Salmiya, Baghdad Street, 36, in the front of Al Laheeb Mosque, next building to Boushahri Gallery. Tel: 2562 1215
